January 18,(J-18)
J-18 a mind blowing Monday
A pretty good day; but different from Sunday
Sunday I laughed, yet today I ponder
Over what someone told me; It makes me wonder
They said I’m “Too NICE!”
What the heck does that mean?
Should I turn cold as ice, cuss you out til you’re green?
What is too nice really? Cause I don’t rant and rave?
Flip the bird and mean mug, like I’ve got face to save
I owe no one the pleasure, to control my emotions
They’re opinions of me can be shoved in…the ocean.
God is too good for me to stay mad and act silly
Over some insecure, childish wanna be bully
Of a person who can’t seem to feel like they matter
So with ugly actions and words they blow up and batter
And lash out to ease their own pain
I like being me.
I like how I flow
I like feeling free
To love like I love, It feels good to know
The more that I learn
The more that I grow
In grace, to the glory of God.
